Job Summary

The Area Sales Manager for LAP (Loan Against Property) in Ludhiana will be responsible for driving sales and achieving targets within the assigned geographical area. This role involves leading and motivating a team, developing strong relationships with channel partners, and ensuring the efficient operation of lending activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for Loan Against Property products in Ludhiana.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives to maximize their performance and foster a high-achieving sales culture.
  • Identify and onboard new channel partners, including DSA/Connectors, and manage existing relationships to drive business growth.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay abreast of market trends.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines in all sales and lending operations.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and application processing to disbursement and post-disbursement follow-up.
  • Collaborate with credit, operations, and other internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience and efficient processing of loans.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews to senior management.
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Actively participate in promotional activities and marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role within the retail lending or financial services industry, specifically in Loan Against Property (LAP).
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Ludhiana market and its real estate dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
