Specific experience in building, managing and implementing payroll tax related operations and processes would be advantageous but is not essential. We are recruiting Senior Associate open position in the UK Individual Expatriate Tax team with subject matter expertise in UK Payroll Services Industry. Specific experience in building, managing and implementing payroll tax related operations and processes would be advantageous but is not essential. Working as Senior Associate in this team, your responsibilities will include
- To avail the appropriate credit and mitigate double taxation of income in different jurisdictions.
- Basic knowledge about UK Local, Modified & Shadow payrolls and regulations related to these.
- Provide day to day support to peer Senior Associates and Assistant Managers to assist with the delivery of payroll computations and client services.
- Draft appropriate information requests to gather outstanding data from clients.
- Draft client correspondence documents (emails, letters, reports etc.) at relevant points throughout the compliance cycle.
- Being proactive in owning/managing your client allocation & flexible in working arrangements.
- Performing other ad hoc tax compliance related activities as and when required. Follow firm’s best practice and policy around the compliance process.
Qualifications
Educational qualifications
- Degree from reputable university with excellent academic result, majoring Accounting, Finance or a similar field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in UK Modified/Local Payroll Compliance (i.e. preparing, reviewing) payroll instruction and allied reports
