ExxonMobil’s affiliates have offices in India in Bengaluru, Mumbai and the National Capital Region.

ExxonMobil’s affiliates in India supporting the Product Solutions business engage in the marketing, sales and distribution of performance as well as specialty products across chemicals and lubricants businesses. The India planning teams are also embedded with global business units for business planning and analytics.

ExxonMobil’s LNG affiliate in India supporting the upstream business provides consultant services for other ExxonMobil upstream affiliates and conducts LNG market-development activities.

The Global Business Center - Technology Center provides a range of technical and business support services for ExxonMobil’s operations around the globe.

What Will You Do
  • Serve as subject matter expert and provide guidance to Asia Pacific (AP) Supply Chain on Controls, HCP-MAP and Industry Standards (API, ASTM etc.) compliance.
  • Focal point in seeking advice and clarification from Controllers and Hydrocarbon Practices (HCP) Custodian.
  • Provide leadership and support for Controls & Measurements compliance assessment.
  • Engage in Community of Practices (COP), share and adopt cross region / functions’ best practices, and provide cross region support as needed.
  • Develop supply chain organizational competency in Controls & Measurement for Third Party Oversight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Support on Controls Integrity
    • Initiate and implement fit for purpose initiatives to meet controls requirements.
    • Support and address controls concerns including but not restricted to supply chain Management of Change (MOC) activities, Delegation of Authority Guide (DOAG) interpretation, SMC exceptions, Controls Integrity Management System Risk Assessment (CIMS RA).
    • Steward Regional Controls Calendar activities and ensure compliance.
    • Ad-hoc support to AP Supply Chain on day-to-day issues by providing effective guidance and fit-for-risk solutions.
    • Lead and coordinate compliance assessments and health checks.
      • Lead as Assessment/Health Checks coordinator including scoping, planning for fieldwork, review assessment work papers by assessors, prepare assessment report.
      • Lead as Audit coordinator bridging between Internal Audit and AP Supply Chain, coordinates to ensure smooth execution.
      • Focal point of contact for ad-hoc PWC Audits including clarifying on Audit requests with Supply Chain teams and screen through supporting documents collected to ensure relevance.
      • Facilitate and monitor gap closure status.
    • Coordinate electronic annual clean up (MPI, RMG, LAN Access)
  • Provide Support on Measurements and Hydrocarbon Practices (HCP)
    • Support Hydrocarbon Control Practices - Measurement and Analysis for Production (HCP-MAP) council corporate wide initiatives as appropriate.
    • Align regional HCP procedures and processes for AP Supply Chain.
    • Lead AP Product Loss stewardship activities.
    • Review transportation loss tolerance revision as needed.
    • Own AP Product Loss Program and update as needed.
    • Support witnessing / 3rd party qualification activities as needed.

  • Other Activities
    • Support Controls and Measurement related incident investigation as needed.
    • Participate in Third Party Service Provider Oversight Program (TOP) as needed for Controls and Measurement, and in accordance with R&R in TOP Manual.
    • Support Unified Assessments as appropriate.
    • Support capital projects on controls and measurement related activities as needed.
    • Support competency development needs of AP Supply Chain personnel providing training, mentorship and coaching.
About You
Skills & Qualifications

  • University degree required, with an engineering degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with logistics, supply chain and/or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of or interest in measurement and hydrocarbon practices and/or business controls a plus
  • Understanding of measurement practices of marine movements a plus.
  • Risk & change management experience and skills preferred.
  • Demonstrate sound business judgment, strong problem solving and analytical skills, and customer focus as required for effective case management.
  • Ability to integrate technical expertise, industry knowledge, and contractual obligations in decision making.
  • Strong interpersonal effectiveness with ability to communicate cross functionally at various levels of the organization and influence others.
  • Strong team player with effective communication skills and ability to influence without authority.
  • Ability to build and utilize cross-functional relationships to develop and implement strategies
  • Efficient and effective use of resources to achieve results, develops and monitors own work plans to achieve objectives
  • Represent ExxonMobil to third parties and industry partners in a clear and confident manner
