Chris has been with Skills Society since 2010 serving a variety of roles in the front line and leadership. With a strong sense of equity, he is eager to collaborate and help teams see strengths and unique abilities to unlock new opportunities and pathways to help make life more meaningful for those they work for.
Chris has participated in many projects that Skills has led over the years including helping to amplify a culture of gratitude amongst the agency, community building and strengthening, Project Citizenship, stewarding MyCompass Planning Labs, and CommuniTEA Infusion.
With deep interests in psychology and philosophy, Chris is always open to go beneath the surface with those he works with to explore, ideate, and strategize ways to bolster the quality of life of the people they serve.
Chris is grateful and proud to lead, and learn from, the teams he works with, and employs a strength-based leadership style rooted in kindness, approachability, thoughtfulness, and fruition. Drawing inspiration from mentors, colleagues, creative collaborations, and person-centered work, Chris strives to enhance the senses of belonging, rights, and companionship in the lives of people with disabilities.
