Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Quality Analyst role based in Mysore. The Senior Quality Analyst will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining test strategies and test plans for Marmin AI’s e-invoicing platform and integrations. The role involves creating and executing manual and automated test cases, validating new features and enhancements, and performing regression, functional, and integration testing across web and API layers. The person in this role will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and DevOps engineers to clarify requirements, identify risks, and ensure high-quality releases. Daily responsibilities include analyzing defects, driving root cause analysis, defining quality metrics, mentoring junior QA team members, and contributing to continuous improvement of quality processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement detailed test plans and cases that cover functional, regression, performance, and security testing requirements.
• Automation Leadership: Architect and maintain scalable automated test suites using frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress, ensuring deep integration into our CI/CD pipelines.
• API & Backend Testing: Conduct rigorous API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI to ensure data integrity and system interoperability.
• Collaboration: Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, providing critical feedback during sprint planning and retrospective sessions.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior QA analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution, working closely with developers to reproduce and fix high-priority issues.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Engineering.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation scripts.
• Testing Tools: Expertise in Selenium, JMeter, Appium, and SQL for database validation.
• Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud infrastructure testing (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
