Profile Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven AVP to lead our NPU team (NON PETPOOJA USER) into B2C or Horizontal Industry for New Product/Customer Acquisition. This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution to manage and drive a team of Zonal Manager City heads, Area Sales Managers (ASM) and Relationship Managers (RM) in a high-growth SaaS environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Sales & Revenue Growth:


Lead a field-driven sales team focused on retail clients for Petpooja Invoice (Retail POS) and Payroll solutions.

Develop and execute sales plans to promote value-added services, ensuring business expansion.

Drive revenue growth and build scalable sales processes.

Drive retail POS and Payroll sales across markets

Leadership & Team Management:

Lead and mentor the field-based sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.

Conduct regular training and performance reviews to enhance team productivity.

Foster a culture of ownership, motivation, and excellence within the team.


Client Relationship Management:

Build strong relationships with restaurant owners to enhance customer loyalty and retention.

Act as a trusted advisor, providing tailored solutions based on client requirements.

Address client concerns and ensure a seamless experience with Petpooja’s VAS.


Strategy & Execution:

Design and implement sales strategies to maximise conversions from existing clients.

Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to drive sales.

Monitor and evaluate team performance, sales metrics, and client feedback to refine strategies.

Operational Excellence:


Ensure sales operations align with company policies and CRM best practices.

Track and report sales progress, forecasts, and key insights to the VP – Sales & Operations.

Leverage technology and automation tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10 years in field sales, client relationship management, and revenue generation.
  • Leadership: Strong team management, mentorship, and motivational skills.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven ability to drive sales from an existing client base with a consultative approach.
  • Market Knowledge: Understanding of the restaurant technology sector and software solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills in English and regional languages.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify client pain points and present effective solutions.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools and data-driven decision-making.
