Role Description The AI-Driven Graphic Design Team Leader will oversee a design team responsible for creating visual assets for digital campaigns, product launches, social media, and e-commerce platforms. This full-time, on-site role in Surat involves planning and managing AI-powered design workflows, supervising the use of generative design tools, and ensuring all outputs align with the Dhoop Chāav brand identity. The team leader will translate creative briefs into clear design directions, review and refine AI-generated concepts, and guide designers in combining human creativity with machine-generated visuals. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with marketing, product, and merchandising teams, setting timelines, prioritizing projects, and maintaining high standards of visual consistency across all channels. The role also includes monitoring design performance metrics, experimenting with new AI tools, and mentoring team members to build skills in both traditional and AI-assisted design.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in visual and graphic design principles, including typography, color, composition, and layout.
- Hands-on experience with AI-driven design tools (e.g., generative image models, style transfer, automated layout tools) and openness to learning new technologies.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools.
- Proven leadership experience in managing or mentoring a design team, with the ability to delegate, provide feedback, and develop talent.
- Ability to interpret brand guidelines and translate them into cohesive visual systems across digital and print channels.
- Experience in fashion, apparel, or lifestyle branding, preferably in ethnic or contemporary wear, is highly beneficial.
- Strong collaboration skills for working closely with marketing, product, and e-commerce teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to explain AI-driven concepts to non-technical colleagues.
