Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Proximate and Water Testing sections.
• Ensure timely analysis of samples as per approved test methods and customer requirements.
• Review and authorize test data, calculations, and reports before submission.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, NABL requirements, and internal quality systems.
• Maintain section documentation, records, SOPs, and quality-related documents.
• Plan and allocate work to analysts and technical staff to achieve TAT commitments.
• Participate in method validation, verification, uncertainty estimation, and proficiency testing activities.
• Support internal audits, external audits (NABL, EIC) and accreditation assessments.
• Ensure proper inventory management of chemicals, reagents, consumables, and reference standards.
  
  

Technical Requirements

• Hands-on experience in proximate analysis (Moisture, Ash, Fat, Protein, Fiber, Carbohydrates, Energy, etc.).
• Experience in Food & water testing as per FSSAI, EIC, APEDA,APHA, or relevant standards.
• Knowledge of analytical instruments used in food and water testing laboratories.
• Strong understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 and NABL accreditation requirements.
• Experience in data review, method validation, and quality assurance practices.
  
  

Qualification

• M.Sc. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related disciplines.
