Senior Engineer - NDT Lab Operation & Compliance

Your activities

  • Supervise daily RT lab activities to ensure that radiographic testing of materials, welds, and components is conducted according to procedures, standards, and specifications
  • Managing the scheduling, planning, and execution of testing activities to optimize lab efficiency
  • Ensure that all radiographic testing operations comply with radiation safety regulations and standard
  • ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect personnel from radiation exposure
  • Ensure that all radiographic testing equipment (e.g., X-ray machines, gamma ray sources, film processors) is properly maintained, calibrated, and operated according to manufacturer guidelines and safety standards
  • Conduct regular internal audits, ensure the accuracy and reliability of radiographic test results
  • Properly train all radiographic testing personnel and make them competent in performing radiographic inspections
  • Evaluation and interpretation of radiographic test results to identify defects, or non-conformities in materials and components.
  • To reduce consumable cost ( Film, Developing Medium etc).

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Radiography or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the quality process and RT Lab process with the relevant manufacturing.
  • RSO Certification, demonstrating expertise in radiation safety regulations, protocols, and best practices
  • Proficiency in NDT methods. In-depth knowledge of radiographic testing principles, techniques (e.g., X-ray, gamma-ray), equipment, film processing, digital radiography, and radiograph interpretation. Proficiency in identifying defects such as cracks, porosity, inclusions, and incomplete penetration
