Job Description – HR Manager

Position: HR Manager – Clinical Hiring (Nursing)

Department: Human Resources

Location: Hospital / Healthcare Organization

Reporting To: Head – Human Resources

Qualification

  • MBA in Human Resources / Personnel Management or equivalent.

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Healthcare Recruitment.
  • Extensive experience in Nursing and Clinical Hiring.
  • Proven experience in handling bulk recruitment, campus hiring, and critical position closures in hospitals.

Job Purpose

To lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment function for clinical and nursing manpower, ensuring timely fulfillment of manpower requirements while maintaining quality hiring standards and achieving recruitment TATs.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for Nursing and Clinical positions.
  • Ensure timely closure of vacancies as per agreed Turnaround Time (TAT).
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to meet current and future manpower requirements.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified clinical candidates.
  • Conduct candidate screening, interviews, salary negotiations, and offer rollouts.

Bulk Hiring & Campus Recruitment

  • Plan and execute bulk hiring drives for nursing and clinical positions.
  • Develop partnerships with nursing colleges, universities, and healthcare institutes.
  • Organize and manage campus recruitment programs and job fairs.
  • Create sustainable talent acquisition channels to support organizational growth.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with Nursing Leadership, Medical Administration, and Department Heads to understand hiring needs.
  • Provide regular recruitment updates and manpower status reports.
  • Ensure a high level of hiring manager satisfaction through timely closures.

Recruitment Metrics & Process Excellence

  • Track and improve recruitment KPIs including TAT, vacancy aging, offer acceptance ratio, and joining ratio.
  • Maintain recruitment MIS and dashboards.
  • Ensure compliance with recruitment policies and processes.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruitment efficiency and candidate experience.

  • Strong expertise in healthcare and nursing recruitment.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple hiring priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High accountability and ownership in achieving hiring targets.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Recruitment positions closed within defined TAT.
  • Reduction in vacancy aging.
  • Achievement of monthly and quarterly hiring targets.
  • Campus hiring conversions.
  • Offer-to-joining ratio.
  • Hiring manager satisfaction scores.
  • Development of a strong and sustainable clinical talent pipeline.

Expected Outcome

The incumbent will ensure timely and quality recruitment of nursing and clinical manpower, support hospital expansion plans, minimize vacancy gaps, and build a strong talent acquisition framework for long-term workforce planning.
