Role Overview
The Head- Business Development will be responsible for driving business growth in the fabrication industry by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships. Roles and Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
MBA in Sales/Marketing is a plus.
10+ years of experience in business development/sales within the fabrication or engineering industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Business Growth & Strategy
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify potential clients, industries, and markets for business expansion.
- Conduct market research to analyze trends, competition, and customer demands.
- Build and execute strategic plans to increase market penetration.
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Identify and engage with prospective clients through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Understand client requirements and propose customized fabrication solutions.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals successfully.
- Sales & Revenue Generation
- Meet and exceed sales targets by securing new projects and repeat business.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
- Track sales performance metrics and report progress to management.
- Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments, fabrication technologies, and emerging trends.
- Analyze competitor strategies and identify areas for differentiation.
- Provide insights to the leadership team for product/service improvements.
- Coordination & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the engineering, production, and operations teams to ensure feasibility and quality of projects.
- Provide feedback on customer needs to enhance service offerings.
- Participate in internal strategy meetings and contribute ideas for growth initiatives.
- Strong understanding of the fabrication and engineering industry.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Ability to develop and execute business strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Problem-solving mindset with a result-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- ERP/MRP systems
- Proficiency in ERP software for inventory.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and documentation
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
MBA in Sales/Marketing is a plus.
10+ years of experience in business development/sales within the fabrication or engineering industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
