This role will play a key part in identifying new product opportunities, analyzing market trends, managing product categories, and supporting strategic product development initiatives.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical capabilities, experience in category management, and a solid understanding of the automotive or heavy-duty truck aftermarket industry. You will work closely with Product Development, Sales, Marketing, IT, and Operations teams to drive product growth and improve category performance.

Key Responsibilities
Product & Category Management
- Conduct market, competitor, and vendor research to identify new product opportunities.
- Support new product development initiatives and category expansion strategies.
- Analyze product assortment, pricing, sales performance, and inventory trends.
- Monitor category performance and provide actionable recommendations.
- Assist in product positioning, promotions, and category optimization.
- Analyze sales trends, inventory performance, and market data.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and business insights.
- Utilize advanced Excel and other analytical tools to support decision-making.
- Identify gaps, opportunities, and performance improvement areas through data analysis.
- Track industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging product opportunities.
- Conduct category and market research to support business growth initiatives.
- Evaluate customer demand patterns and product lifecycle performance.
- Collaborate with Product Development, Sales, Marketing, IT, and Operations teams.
- Participate in virtual meetings with global stakeholders and provide research-based recommendations.
- Ensure accurate documentation of findings, product requirements, and project updates.
- Maintain product data accuracy across ERP, e-commerce, and internal systems.
- Support product setup, categorization, and data quality initiatives.
- Assist with data validation, troubleshooting, and process improvement efforts.
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced).
- Basic to Intermediate SQL knowledge.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools is preferred.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Understanding of Heavy Duty Truck Parts and Aftermarket Products.
- Familiarity with categories such as brakes, suspension, electrical systems, engines, filters, and related components.
- Knowledge of aftermarket manufacturers, distributors, and industry trends is highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive mindset with strong initiative and ownership.
- Experience with ERP systems and product information management.
- Familiarity with E-commerce platforms and product catalog management.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will also be considered.
- Experience in Automotive, Heavy Duty Truck, Industrial Equipment, or Aftermarket Parts industries.
- Exposure to category management, product analytics, or merchandising functions.
- Experience working with international teams or US-based businesses.
