Role Overview
As a Garment Quality Supervisor, you will lead the in-house finished goods quality team and ensure every garment meets SAADAA’s quality standards before dispatch. This role involves supervising day-to-day quality check operations, managing the junior team , identifying defects, improving inspection accuracy, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to maintain consistency in quality output.

Role Overview
As a Garment Quality Supervisor, you will lead the in-house finished goods quality team and ensure every garment meets SAADAA’s quality standards before dispatch. This role involves supervising day-to-day quality check operations, managing the junior team , identifying defects, improving inspection accuracy, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to maintain consistency in quality output.
WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- In-House Quality Supervision: Oversee day-to-day finished goods quality check activities for garments and ensure all inspections are completed accurately and on time.
- Team Management: Lead and supervise the team of junior quality team members. Assign daily tasks, monitor productivity, maintain discipline, and support capability building on the floor.
- Garment Inspection: Check garments for stitching, measurements, finishing, fabric defects, trims, labeling, packing accuracy, and overall quality compliance.
- Quality Control Process: Ensure standard inspection procedures are followed consistently and maintain quality checkpoints for finished goods before approval.
- Defect Identification: Identify recurring quality issues, segregate defective pieces, and highlight root causes to relevant stakeholders for corrective action.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain daily quality reports, defect trackers, rejection summaries, and inspection records using Excel / Google Sheets or internal tools.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with production, warehouse, merchandising, and vendor-facing quality teams to ensure smooth resolution of quality-related issues.
- Process Improvement: Suggest practical improvements in inspection flow, defect prevention, and team working methods to improve overall quality performance.
- 3 years of experience in garment quality, apparel inspection, or finished goods quality control.
- Prior team management experience, with the ability to handle and guide a junior team effectively.
- Good understanding of garment construction, stitching, measurements, finishing, and common apparel defects.
- Strong ownership, execution focus, and attention to detail.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Textile, Apparel, Garment, Fashion Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in garment or apparel quality operations is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of finished goods inspection standards and quality checkpoints.
- Basic proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets for reporting and tracking.
- Ability to manage floor-level operations and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
