About The Role

We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented Retail HR Executive to support our growing retail business across India. The role will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, employee documentation, engagement, and retention initiatives for our retail workforce. The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, handling salary discussions, and traveling across locations whenever required.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

    • Manage end-to-end recruitment for retail roles across India, including:
    • Sales Advisors
    • Store Managers
    • Cluster Heads (as per business requirements)
    • Source candidates through job portals, referrals, walk-ins.
    • Screen profiles, coordinate interviews, and ensure timely closure of positions.
    • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of quality retail talent.
Offer Management & Salary Negotiation

    • Conduct salary discussions and negotiate compensation within approved budget ranges.
    • Ensure competitive and fair offers while balancing business requirements.
    • Coordinate offer rollouts and manage candidate expectations throughout the hiring process.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth joining and minimize offer dropouts.
Onboarding & Documentation

    • Ensure smooth onboarding and joining formalities for new employees.
    • Collect, verify, and maintain employee documentation and records.
    • Conduct and coordinate induction programs to ensure a positive employee experience.
    • Maintain accurate employee databases and HR records.
Employee Engagement & Retention

    • Drive employee engagement initiatives across retail stores.
    • Monitor attrition trends and implement retention strategies to improve employee stability.
    • Conduct regular employee connect sessions and support grievance resolution.
    • Build strong relationships with store teams to enhance employee experience and foster a positive work culture.
HR Operations & Store Support

    • Act as the primary HR point of contact for retail employees.
    • Ensure adherence to company policies and HR processes.
    • Support store launches and other retail HR initiatives.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless HR operations.
Travel & Field Support

    • Travel across Pan India locations as required for hiring drives, onboarding, engagement activities, and store support.
    • Provide on-ground HR support during store launches and business expansion initiatives.
Requirements

    • 1–2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition and/or HR Operations, preferably in retail, hospitality, FMCG, or other customer-facing industries.
    • Experience in bulk hiring and handling end-to-end recruitment processes.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Willingness to travel extensively across India.
    • A people-centric approach with strong problem-solving and relationship-building abilities.
Preferred Skills

    • Prior experience in retail hiring and employee retention initiatives.
    • Exposure to salary negotiations and offer management.
    • Ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic environment.
