Job Description

• Finalization of accounts of various entities such as companies, trusts, partnerships, etc. in Xero & MYOB software.
• Preparation and review of income tax returns for company, trust, and individual tax returns in XPM & MYOB AO.
• Can handle Division 7A calculations, payroll tax calculations & motor vehicle depreciation cost limit calculations & other complicated scenarios of Australian taxation.
• Should manage year-end processes such as scrutiny of balance sheet and P&L accounts, fixed asset reconciliation, depreciation, asset disposal, etc.
• Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS), Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
• Preparation of workpapers, year-end tax, and GST reconciliation.
• Should know FBT applicability and their rules and regulations.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to communicate directly with Australian clients.
• A proactive, client-focused, and results-oriented approach.
• SMSF and bookkeeping knowledge will be an added advantage.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards it (preferred).
• 2-4 years of Australian accounting experience.
• Knowledge of Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
