Facility Operations
Oversee maintenance of factory infrastructure including buildings, roads, drainage systems, and internal utilities.
Monitor facility performance and address breakdowns promptly.
Infrastructure Development & Projects
Coordinate civil and infrastructure works such as factory expansion, equipment foundations, modifications, and renovations.
Review layouts and design inputs in coordination with consultants, OEMs, and contractors.
Ensure project execution aligns with approved drawings, technical specifications, and timelines.
Monitor contractor performance and quality of work.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure all facility operations comply with statutory regulations and EHS standards.
Implement safe work practices and ensure adherence to due permit systems.
Coordinate with EHS teams for audits, inspections, and closure of observations.
Maintain records for compliance and approvals.
Vendor & Contractor Management
Coordinate with external agencies, suppliers and contractors for maintenance, civil works.
Support technical evaluation of vendors along with supply chain teams.
Monitor contractor safety, quality, and adherence to scope.
Verify bills (RA bills) and ensure work completion as per contract terms.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain records of repair works and facility layouts.
Prepare MIS reports on facility status, utility consumption, and project progress.
Review and approve technical documents such as foundation drawings, layouts, and design basis reports (as per role competency).
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for improving facility reliability and efficiency.
Implement best practices in industrial facility management.
Drive initiatives for sustainability and cost optimization.
