Endoscopy Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist doctors and nurses during endoscopic procedures.
• Prepare and arrange endoscopy equipment, instruments, and accessories.
• Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of endoscopy equipment as per hospital protocols.
• Assist in patient preparation and positioning before procedures.
• Monitor and maintain the availability of required equipment and consumables.
• Support the endoscopy team during procedures and ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain proper records of procedures, equipment usage, and sterilization.
• Follow infection control and patient safety protocols.
• Handle and maintain endoscopy equipment carefully.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of endoscopy procedures and equipment handling.
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Patient-care-oriented approach.
• Willingness to work in shifts.

Qualification:

• Diploma/B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a relevant healthcare field.
