Allbeauty Salon is a destination hair and beauty salon in the heart of Guernsey. We are a passionate, hard-working team dedicated to delivering outstanding experiences for every customer who walks through our door.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an energetic and well-presented individual to join us in a dynamic, multi-faceted role.

This is a varied and rewarding position that combines front-of-house hospitality and salon retail, making it ideal for someone who loves beauty, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.

This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career, with excellent opportunities for progression within the salon or our digital e-commerce business, which is headquartered in Guernsey.

Key Responsibilities

Reception and Client Experience

• Welcome every client to the salon, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued from the moment they arrive.
• Assist with managing appointment bookings through our online booking portal and by telephone.
• Support therapists and stylists throughout the day, enabling them to focus on delivering exceptional treatments.
• Handle client queries and concerns professionally, empathetically, and with a positive attitude.
  
  

Store Management

• Maintain the salon to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organisation.
• Monitor and replenish product stock levels, place orders, and ensure retail displays remain fully stocked and well presented.
• Process customer retail orders and assist with product-related enquiries in a knowledgeable and helpful manner.
• Carry out day-to-day operational tasks to ensure the salon runs smoothly.
• Manage and develop the Allbeauty Salon Facebook page by showcasing treatments, promotions, and the team, while responding promptly and professionally to comments, messages, and reviews.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• A genuine passion for hair and beauty.
• Excellent personal presentation, as you will be the first point of contact for clients.
• Outstanding customer service skills, with a warm, empathetic, and polite manner.
• Strong communication skills, both face-to-face and over the telephone.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• A positive, proactive attitude and enthusiasm for learning and supporting colleagues.
• Previous experience in a salon, hospitality, or retail customer service role would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Confidence using social media platforms, particularly Facebook, to create content and engage with customers would be advantageous but is not essential.
