Golf Course Seasonal Positions

Nephi is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals for seasonal positions at Canyon Hills Golf Course. These posiitons include GROUND MAINTENANCE and PRO SHOP STAFF.

Qualifications

• Customer service: friendly, welcoming demeanor and excellent communication skills
• Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors for extended periods
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic understanding of golf is helpful but not required
  
  

Miscellaneous Information

GROUNDS MAINTENANCE: Responsible for performing tasks associated with the daily maintenance of the golf course, associated grounds and project implementation.

• Bunker maintenance
• Golf course set up: cup cutting, tee cleanup, divot filling and ball marks
• Operate mowing equipment: greens, tees, fairways and rough
• Complies with golf course etiquette rules, uphold and maintain course expectations
• This position reports to the course superintendent PRO SHOP STAFF: Responsible for performing tasks associated with assisting golfers. Typical duties include, but are not limited to:
• Customer service and check-in, POS and handling cash
• Tee time and pace management
• Cart operations, clean, stage and have carts ready for play
• Range Balls; pick and clean
• Facility maintenance: Pro shop, restrooms, cart barn and surrounding areas
• This position reports to the Office Manager
