About The Role

This position directly reports to Head of Corporate Finance and Taxation. This position will be responsible for managing treasury operations, fund raising, investments, logistics finance, proprietary audits, and payment controls while supporting the Promoter's Office in personal financial planning, taxation, investment management, and strategic financial matters. The role requires close coordination with banks, financial institutions, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure financial discipline, liquidity management, and effective decision support.

Payments & Financial Controls

• Oversee vendor, employee, and statutory payments ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Strengthen payment approval workflows and internal financial controls.
• Monitor cash flow and optimize payment cycles.
  

Logistics Finance Function

• Monitor freight, warehousing, transportation, and logistics costs across business operations.
• Perform reconciliation of logistics invoices with transporter bills, vendor statements, and ERP records.
• Liaise with logistics partners and transport service providers to resolve billing discrepancies, claims, and operational issues.
• Analyze logistics cost drivers and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting for logistics finance.
  

Proprietary Audit

• Plan and conduct proprietary audits across business units.
• Review operational, financial, and compliance controls.
• Recommend corrective actions and monitor closure of audit observations.
  

Fund Raising

• Support debt and equity fund-raising activities.
• Prepare financial models, investor presentations, and due diligence documents.
• Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, investors, and advisors.
  

Treasury Management

• Manage daily cash flow, banking operations, and working capital.
• Optimize utilization of credit facilities and investment of surplus funds.
• Monitor foreign exchange exposure and recommend appropriate hedging strategies.
  

Investment Management

• Evaluate investment proposals and monitor portfolio performance.
• Conduct financial feasibility studies, ROI analysis, and risk assessments.
• Support strategic investment decisions aligned with organizational objectives.
  

Promoter Office Work

• Prepare and maintain the Promoters' personal financial statements, net worth statements, and investment summaries.
• Manage personal taxation, tax planning, and regulatory compliances of the Promoters.
• Coordinate with tax consultants, wealth managers, banks, and legal advisors for financial and investment matters.
  

Skills Summary

• Strong expertise in treasury, fund raising, investments, and working capital management.
• Experience in logistics finance, payment controls, invoice reconciliation, and proprietary audits.
• Knowledge of promoter/family office financial management, taxation, and wealth planning.
• Strong financial analysis, MIS reporting, and business partnering capabilities.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• High integrity, confidentiality, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  
  

Experience: Minimum 8-12 Years (relevant experience) of experience in corporate finance and taxation role.

Educational Qualification

• Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
• MBA (Finance), CFA, FRM, or equivalent professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
