Head - Accounts and Finance

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Head – Accounts & Finance to lead the Finance function for our fast-growing digital agency. This individual will own financial strategy, planning, compliance, and risk management while ensuring optimal asset administration and statutory alignment. The role demands a strong accounting foundation, deep knowledge of Indian and international financial practices, and the ability to generate insights for business growth and cost efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing

Financial Strategy & Management:

• Lead end-to-end financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
• Drive cost optimization and identify tax-efficient investment opportunities.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and MIS dashboards for leadership.
• Deliver insights to support revenue growth and long-term financial sustainability.
  
  

Accounting & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to Indian accounting standards and global bookkeeping practices.
• Manage compliance for TDS, GST, corporate taxation, and transfer pricing regulations.
• Oversee month-end/year-end closing activities, journal entries, and intercompany transactions.
• Lead internal, statutory, and investor audit processes.
  
  

Legal & Regulatory Affairs

• Maintain full compliance with RBI, FEMA, and other financial regulations.
• Coordinate with chartered accountants, legal consultants, and government authorities.
• Ensure proper documentation for company formation, restructuring, and regulatory approvals.
  
  

Operations & Infrastructure Oversight

• Supervise accounts payable/receivable, loans, payroll accounting, and employee tax handling.
• Manage company investments and financial health of the portfolio.
• Oversee office infrastructure, vendor relations, procurement, and asset tracking.
  
  

What We’d Love To See

• Expertise in Indian and global financial practices and compliance standards
• Strong knowledge of portfolio and investment strategy
• Practical experience with taxation, transfer pricing, and corporate filings
• Working knowledge of RBI and FEMA regulatory frameworks
• Proficiency in audit and account finalization processes
• Skilled in financial consolidation, variance analysis, and MIS reporting
• High-level proficiency in Tally and MS Excel for financial modeling and reports
• Strong communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration abilities

• Proven track record of leading finance and accounts. Experience with IT/Tech companies would be an added advantage.
• A commercially driven mindset with a knack for turning numbers into strategy.
• Hands-on experience in managing finance operations, legal compliance, and infrastructure
• Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)
