The Warehouse Management Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate order fulfillment, and timely dispatch of goods. This role leads and motivates warehouse staff, monitors productivity, enforces safety and quality standards, and coordinates with cross-functional teams to meet operational goals. The Team Lead ensures compliance with company policies, maintains inventory accuracy, resolves operational issues, and drives continuous process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stowing, picking and shipping activities.
  • Lead, train, coach, and motivate warehouse associates to achieve productivity and performance targets.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management through regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment while maintaining high quality and customer service standards.
  • Allocate work assignments, monitor employee performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
  • Enforce compliance with warehouse safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, operational issues, and shipping or receiving errors.
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, transportation, and customer service teams to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
  • Optimize warehouse layout, storage utilization, and workflow to improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, inventory accuracy, order accuracy, and on-time shipments.
  • Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate warehouse documentation and records.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of materials to minimize damage and loss.
  • Support workforce scheduling, attendance management, and shift planning.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance warehouse performance.
  • Assist in implementing warehouse management systems (WMS) and ensure accurate system transactions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment.
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Handle escalated operational issues and make informed decisions to maintain uninterrupted warehouse operations.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Experience with Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing experience
