Community Manager

At ZyNerd, we're building one of India's leading platforms that helps medical students make career-defining counselling decisions.

We're not looking for someone with years of community management experience. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people, spotting a conversation worth joining, and making students feel heard. If you're naturally curious, quick to reply, notice what people are really asking (even when they don't say it clearly), and enjoy being the voice of a brand people trust - we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

• Turn official counselling notifications into simple, easy-to-understand posts for WhatsApp, Telegram, and social media.
• Actively monitor and reply to messages in our WhatsApp and Telegram groups.
• Track and engage with brand mentions on Reddit and Quora.
• Create original posts on Reddit and Quora to build our presence and credibility.
• Respond to comments on our YouTube videos and webinars.
• Manage our online reputation - reviews, mentions, and sentiment across platforms.
• Handle negative feedback professionally and escalate serious issues quickly.
• Support push notification content for exam updates and deadlines.
• Work closely with our counselling, content, and marketing teams.

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has excellent written communication skills in English.
• Understands what people need quickly, without needing everything spelled out.
• Is highly execution-oriented and takes ownership of every conversation.
• Has a sharp eye for tone - knows when to be warm, when to be quick, when to escalate.
• Enjoys exploring communities and finding where conversations are happening.
• Is curious, persistent, and comfortable being "always on" during working hours.
• Has a "whatever it takes" attitude to make sure no message goes unanswered.
• Learns quickly and adapts to new platforms and challenges.
• Takes full accountability - owns mistakes, fixes them fast, and doesn't let things slip through the cracks.

Experience

• Fresher or up to 1 year of experience.
• Experience in content writing or social media marketing is a plus.
• We are looking for potential, curiosity, dedication, and the willingness to learn. We'll train you on everything else.
