We are looking for Customer Support Engineer

You’ll make a difference by

• Role would involve overseeing and managing the maintenance operations of DE Loco Equipment
• Responsibilities would be diverse and crucial to ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of De loco Equipment
• Combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency
• Relevant experience in DE Loco Equipment maintenance and repair, with progressively increasing responsibility
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance relevant software tools.
• Responsible for developing and implementing maintenance schedules and plans for De Loco Equipment. This involves coordinating routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and major repairs to keep the DE loco Equipment in optimal condition.
• Lead a team of maintenance technicians, mechanics, and support staff, includes training, and evaluating team members to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
• Budgeting and Resource Allocation: As a manager, you will be in charge of budgeting for maintenance activities. You must ensure that the maintenance department operates within allocated budget limits while still meeting performance and safety targets.
• REL Equipment maintenance involves working with high to medium voltage of electricity. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and implementing safety protocols is essential to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment.
• Oversee the inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment required for maintenance tasks. Maintaining adequate stock levels and ensuring the availability of critical components is crucial to minimizing downtime.
• Regularly track and analyze DE loco Equipment performance metrics to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement. Data-driven decision-making will help optimize maintenance processes and reduce downtime.
• Maintenance Records and Documentation: Keeping accurate maintenance records and documentation is vital for regulatory compliance and historical reference. Ensure that all maintenance activities are documented properly.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as operations, engineering, and procurement, to ensure effective communication and smooth workflow
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance maintenance processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs while maintaining or improving the quality of service.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and guidelines related to DE Loco Equipment maintenance and safety.
• : Be prepared to handle emergencies and unexpected breakdowns, providing prompt and effective response and resolution.
• Environmental Responsibility: Implement and oversee environmentally friendly practices and compliance with environmental regulations.
• Vendor and Contractor Management: Work with external vendors and contractors as needed for specialized maintenance tasks or services.
• : Regularly providing reports and updates to higher management about maintenance activities, costs, and performance metrics is an integral part of this role
  
  

Desired Skills

• Bachelor of Engineering/Diploma in Engineering Degree in Electrical/Electronics discipline or its equivalent.
• Possesses more than or equal to 05 years of experience in DE loco domain preferably in metro rail projects operating with third rail mechanism.
• Must have competency in Maintenance & Troubleshooting DE Loco Equipment.
• Good knowledge of IT systems.
• Excellent communicator, both written and oral.
• People Management experience with strong leadership skills
• Well versed in DE loco Equipment Maintenance Strategy
• Must have managed a small team of 4-10 people
• Technical knowledge of DE loco Equipment and maintenance processes,
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
