About The Role
We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Junior Video Editor & Compositor with 6–12 months of experience to join our content production team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for assembling raw footage, editing sequences, applying basic visual effects, and enhancing storytelling through compelling visuals. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to refine their editing and compositing skills while working on diverse video projects for digital, social, and branded platforms.
Responsibility
Edit video content from concept to final output including social media videos, marketing campaigns, and internal communications.
Apply transitions, titles, sound design, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.
Perform compositing tasks such as green screen removal, rotoscoping, and layer-based visual enhancements.
Collaborate with scriptwriters, animators, designers, and marketing teams to ensure project goals are met.
Optimize videos for different platforms and formats.
Organize project files, maintain asset libraries, and ensure version control.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film, Multimedia, Visual Communication, or a related field.
6–12 months of professional or freelance experience in video editing and compositing.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or equivalent video editing software).
Strong sense of timing, visual rhythm, and narrative pacing.
Basic understanding of color correction, keying, masking, and layer blending.
A Portfolio Or Showreel Demonstrating Editing And VFX Skills.
Ability to take feedback positively and adapt quickly to project changes.
