Direct and manage all photographic content for the Templar Yearbook, ensuring high standards of creativity and quality.
Work closely with the Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor to hire a team of photo editors and editorial freelance photographers
Lead and mentor a team of freelance photographers and photo editors, organizing schedules, assigning tasks, and overseeing all photo assignments.
Check-in with the Sports Team to ensure photo assignments for that section are being delegated and completed.
Work closely with photo editors to ensure that the final photographic output aligns with the established themes and quality standards.
Manage timelines and deliverables, ensuring that the photography schedule aligns with the yearbook’s production schedule
Strong understanding of digital photography and photo editing softwares
Strong leadership skills and communication skills to effectively manage and mentor a team
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
