Client Relationship Manager
Responsibilities
- Own a book of 100-150 client families and be the first call for any financial question or life event.
- Lead client onboarding, collect goals, constraints, and risk appetite, and set clear expectations for the relationship.
- Conduct scheduled review meetings; coordinate with the investment team to prep recommendations beforehand.
- Proactively reach out when market events, portfolio triggers, or client life changes require a conversation.
- Handle queries end to end, resolve directly or coordinate with advisory and ops, and always close the loop.
- Track relationship health: review completion, SIP continuity, response rates, and escalation flags.
- Drive organic growth within existing families; identify hooks across insurance, tax, and estate planning.
- Feed client signals back into the product: what questions keep coming up, where clients drop off, and what they are confused by.
- Own the relationship, not just the transaction. Zomint operates in a high-trust domain. A missed check-in, a poorly explained recommendation, or a client who felt unheard can undo months of good advisory work. Relationship quality here is infrastructure, not a soft skill.
- You will work directly with the founders and investment team, be embedded in client workflows from day one, and have real ownership over outcomes, not just activities.
- 2-5 years in wealth management, financial advisory, or a client-facing fintech role.
- You have managed a book of clients; you know what it feels like to be responsible for 100 relationships simultaneously, not just one project at a time.
- Naturally proactive, you reach out before clients do, not after.
- Comfortable with numbers but your superpower is people; you can translate a complex portfolio situation into a calm, clear conversation.
- Enough product knowledge to explain a recommendation without handing off to an advisor every time; working familiarity with MF categories, basic asset allocation, and tax implications is sufficient.
- Structured communicator, written and verbal; you document what you commit to.
- High ownership mindset: you treat client outcomes as your responsibility, not a shared one.
- NISM Series V-A (Mutual Fund Distributor) certification.
- Experience managing HNI or mass affluent client segments.
- Familiarity with goal-based financial planning frameworks.
- Prior exposure to CRM tools or advisor workflow platforms.
