Role Summary

We are looking for a seasoned finance professional to partner with the Business Head/CEO in driving business performance, financial planning, profitability, and strategic decision-making. The role will lead budgeting, forecasting, business analytics, and financial governance for the business unit while acting as a key interface between business and finance teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Performance Management

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
• Monitor business performance through variance analysis and management reporting.
• Develop and track key business and financial KPIs.

Business Partnering

• Provide strategic financial insights to the Business Head and leadership team.
• Support decision-making on investments, new initiatives, CAPEX, pricing, and growth opportunities.
• Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to drive business outcomes.

Profitability & Cost Management

• Drive margin improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
• Analyze product, channel, and customer profitability to identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure financial discipline across the value chain.

Reporting & Governance

• Deliver timely MIS, performance reviews, and business dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements.
• Present financial insights to senior management and corporate finance teams.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor the finance team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, analytics, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute.
• 5-10 years of experience in FP&A, Business Finance, or Commercial Finance roles.
• Experience in manufacturing, textiles, apparel, retail, or consumer businesses preferred.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, profitability analysis, and business partnering.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and advanced Excel/BI tools.
