Job Title: Purchase Manager – Offset Printing

Location: Mumbai Dahisar East

Department: Procurement & Supply Chain

Reports To: General Manager / Director – Operations

Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Purchase Manager with experience in the offset printing and packaging industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely procurement to support uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies specific to offset printing materials (e.g., paper, inks, plates, chemicals).
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers with a focus on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to optimize cost-efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production to forecast material requirements.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with production, quality control, and finance teams to streamline procurement processes.
• Stay updated on market trends and innovations in printing materials and technology.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 9+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the offset printing or packaging industry.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Heidelberg or Komori press requirements.
• Experience with sustainable sourcing practices.
• Understanding of GST, TDS, and other commercial compliance relevant to procurement.
