Overview
The SAP MDM Material Master role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of material master data in SAP, in alignment with global master data governance policies. This position bridges SAP technical processes with business requirements, ensuring that material data is clean, standardized, and available across all ERP modules.

Responsibilities
- Finished Good (SKU) Code Set up in SAP
- Support the planning and set-up of the pipeline of New Products (Innovation, Artwork changes and Revenue management projects) by liaising with the Marketing team, R&D Packaging, R&D Product, Supply team, Demand Planning, Master Data and Procurement
- Own the creation of new finished goods codes. Follow up with stakeholders to ensure information is supplied in a timely manner
- Product Hierarchy/ PPG/ MG4 Sector Request
- Spreadsheet to fill out of how the SKU is categorised (7 different sub-categories for one NPD) in addition to PPG and MPG inputs
- Barcodes
- Generating new barcodes both EAN and TUN for all NPD’s. Getting the barcodes validated through GS1 (Retailer request) by providing individual barcodes for every SKU
- Material Master Data Governance
- Establish and uphold global data governance policies for material master data.
- Define and document data creation, update, and decision-rights processes.
- Ensure compliance with SAP master data standards.
- Execute and oversee material master data maintenance in SAP, including product data cleansing and validation
- Resolve data quality issues, performance bottlenecks, and inconsistencies.
- Manage material master records across all relevant SAP views (Basic Data, Accounting, Inventory, Purchasing, Sales, Quality, etc.)
- Review, maintain, and update Desktop Procedures (DTPs) to ensure documentation accuracy and process standardization.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or related field
- Strong experience in SAP ECC / SAP S4 HANA environments, particularly in Supply Chain processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with Excel, VBA automation
- Ability to manage high volume operational activities while maintaining SLA commitments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams across business and IT
- Strong documentation and process governance capabilities
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
