Role Description
Our FinTech Business Unit, with hubs in Amsterdam, London, Shanghai, and Bangalore, is tasked with removing financial friction from the travel process. We are building a world-class financial infrastructure to ensure that buying and selling travel-related products is seamless, secure, and compliant for millions of travelers and partners worldwide.
We are currently looking for a Product Manager to join our Tax track. This is a high-impact area focused on building and maintaining tax capabilities that support the global ambitions of the business.
The Role
As a Product Manager in the Tax product area, you will own a defined product scope within our global tax infrastructure. You will be responsible for shaping the problem space, defining what to build, and driving delivery within your team. You will work closely with Engineering, Tax Experts, and Finance stakeholders to ensure your product area meets compliance obligations while contributing to the longer-term platform vision.

What You'll Be Doing
- Roadmap Ownership: Define and maintain an 18-month roadmap for your product area, grounded in validated customer/business insight and clear prioritization.
- Team-Level Delivery: Own the product lifecycle within your team, from discovery and requirements through delivery, launch readiness, and operational health.
- Compliance Delivery: Ensure your product area meets regulatory and tax compliance requirements on schedule, while maintaining technical quality and reliability.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the bridge between Engineering and non-technical stakeholders (Finance, Accounting, Tax Experts). Translate complex technical logic into business context for your stakeholder group.
- Cross-Team Alignment: Coordinate across dependencies with other teams in the Tax track and broader FinTech org, identifying and mitigating risks early.
- Operational Excellence: Own team-level success metrics, including platform health, data integrity, and delivery velocity. Ensure operational readiness (monitoring, alerting, rollback plans) for every release.
- 4-6 years of Product Management experience. Experience working on Platform, Infrastructure, or Regulatory compliance products is a plus.
- Technical Comfort: You can discuss API contracts, data schemas, and system dependencies with Engineers, and translate those into product decisions.
- Delivery Track Record: Experience operating in complex, legacy environments. You can manage delivery while navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Stakeholder Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to align a stable set of stakeholders across disciplines and manage expectations clearly.
- Domain Interest: Prior exposure to FinTech, Payments, or Tax Technology is a good to have, not a requirement.
- Agency: You are hands-on and detail-oriented. You don't just identify problems; you drive them to resolution within your team.
