Job Summary

We are looking for software developers, who are passionate about creating high-quality medical software. In this role, you will develop, verify, and maintain software packages in compliance with IEC 62304:2006 (Medical device software — Software life cycle processes) standard. Our microwave breast cancer screening technology S.A.F.E (microwave breast cancer detection and diagnosis system) is now under the MDR (Medical Device Regulation - EU 2017/745) certification process. S.A.F.E system has multiple software modules in Python, that implement: i) automation of microwave measurement and mechatronic sub-systems ii) management of patient database including raw measurements iii) integration with diagnostic and imaging modules implemented by our research team, iv) integration with hospital information systems and v) user interface designed for the radiology professionals. Qualifications

• BSc in Software Engineering or a related Engineering field with a proven track of software development expertise. You are encouraged to share your demonstrative projects (via Github or similar repositories)
• Expertise in implementing Python Desktop UI applications with database integration: QT/PySide6, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, and SQLite.
• Expertise in creating technical reports and diagrams in compliance with IEC 62304:2006 (Medical device software — Software life cycle processes).
• Solid understanding of OOP, UML, design patterns, and large scale software development methodologies ( Waterfall).
• Expertise in software verification, release management, version control (Git), and unit-testing.
• Self-motivated, well-organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and a history of working independently or as part of a team.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Python AI landscape: Scikit-learn, Keras, PyTorch, Tensorflow
• Familiarity with scientific computing with Python: Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib
• Familiarity with Python interoperability with Rust, Nim or C/C++.
