Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated **Mobile Automation Tester with 1+ years of experience in mobile application testing and automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automating Android and/or iOS applications using Appium or similar automation tools, along with a good understanding of software testing principles and Agile methodologies.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for Android and iOS mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using bug tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Zoho.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Analyze test results and prepare detailed test reports.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
• Maintain automation frameworks and improve test coverage.
• Execute API testing using tools like Postman (preferred).
• Validate application performance across different devices and OS versions.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the software development lifecycle.
  
  

Required Skills

• 1+ years of experience in Mobile Automation Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Appium or Katalon Studio.
• Knowledge of Java (preferred) or any object-oriented programming language.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with TestNG or JUnit.
• Experience with Maven or Gradle.
• Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
• Understanding of Page Object Model (POM) and automation framework design.
• Experience in Android application testing; iOS testing knowledge is an advantage.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
• Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of API Automation using Rest Assured.
• Basic understanding of performance testing tools is a plus.
