Engine Mount - Chassis 2

• Design and develop engine and powertrain mounting systems using CATIA V5.
• Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Perform engine mount packaging and installation feasibility studies.
• Ensure proper mounting interfaces between the engine, transmission, chassis/body, subframe, and surrounding components.
• Perform DMU, clearance, interference, and accessibility checks.
• Design components considering strength, stiffness, vibration isolation, durability, weight, cost, and manufacturability.
• Work closely with NVH, CAE, durability, powertrain, chassis, body, and manufacturing teams.
• Apply GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and functional requirements to components and assemblies.
• Support prototype development, testing, validation, and production implementation.
• Investigate and resolve design issues identified during prototype, vehicle testing, and production.
• Prepare and maintain BOM, engineering drawings, specifications, and design documentation.
• Support ECR/ECN and engineering change activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers for component development, manufacturing feasibility, tooling, and technical issue resolution.
  
  

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Engine Mount Design Engineer with hands-on expertise in CATIA V5 for the design and development of engine and powertrain mounting systems. The candidate will be responsible for 3D modeling, packaging, structural design, detailing, design validation, and coordination with CAE, NVH, manufacturing, testing, and supplier teams.
