Technical Lead – Python

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Technical Lead with extensive experience in delivering enterprise applications within an IT services environment. The candidate should possess strong technical leadership skills, hands-on development expertise, and experience managing teams delivering fixed-cost engagements. Candidates with banking and financial services experience will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and development of Python-based enterprise solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across the software development lifecycle.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable application architectures.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Review code, enforce development standards, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Prepare technical estimates, project plans, and solution approaches for fixed-price projects.
• Guide development teams in resolving complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product Owners, and Project Managers for successful project delivery.
• Mentor engineers and support capability building within the organization.
• Ensure adherence to security, performance, and coding best practices.
  
  

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Essential Skills

• Strong expertise in Python.
• Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming and distributed systems.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and code quality tools.

• Mandatory experience in IT Services organizations.
• Demonstrated success delivering fixed-cost/fixed-bid software projects.
• Strong solution design and architecture capabilities.
• Experience interacting with enterprise customers.
• Banking or Financial Services project experience is highly preferred.
