The Role

Our client is seeking an AEM Developer in the Insurance division.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a global team, providing top-tier service to existing and prospective clients while expanding the business on a product and global level.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications based on AEM as a Cloud Service using latest best practices and architectural patterns.
• Create reusable AEM components (Core Components, custom components), page templates, editable templates, and content structures.
• Write backend Java code for AEM, including servlets, models, workflow processes, and custom services.
• Deploy and manage code in AEMaaCS environments (dev, staging, production).
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment processes using Cloud Manager.
• Optimize performance, caching strategies, and content delivery in cloud environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud deployments using AEM logs and diagnostics.
• Implement cloud-native security best practices and access controls.
• Work with cross-functional teams including UX designers, QA engineers, and product managers.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards.
• Document technical architecture, configurations, and implementation guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO best practices.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization.

Required Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• 8+ years of hands-on AEM development experience, with at least 2+ years of AEM Cloud as a Service.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Cloud Manager for CI/CD deployments.
• Understanding of AEM Cloud development tools and SDKs, topology, deployment models, and cloud-native architecture.
• Experience with AEM Dispatcher configuration and caching strategies.
• Proficiency in Java (5+ years) with strong OOP principles and design patterns.
• Good understanding of Adobe Analytics implementation is preferred.
• Expert-level HTL / Sightly templating, strong JavaScript/ES6+ and CSS3 skills with responsive design experience.
• Working knowledge of Apache Sling, OSGi, and AEM APIs.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.

Tools & Technologies:

• Adobe Experience Manager (6.5 and Cloud), IntelliJ IDEA or similar IDE, Apache Maven, Git/GitHub, ADO or similar project management tools.
