Transportation Coordinator

Overview

Performs tasks in support of processes/project components for the Transportation area under general supervision to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of work. Responsible for managing or performing work associated with the efficient transportation of materials and products from origin to destination.

Responsibilities

This job follows established guidelines to complete various tasks within the Transportation area under general supervision.

Aids the organization transportation operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Helps to develop transport schedules and routes to optimize efficiency.

Supports compliance with relevant regulations during material transportation.

Assists in the selection of external transport providers to build effective partnerships.

Ensures adherence to crisis plans and operational practices for effective transportation management.

Develops and applies a broad understanding of area processes and tools to contribute to moderately complex components of projects, initiatives, or processes.

Qualifications

BBA/MBA/Graduate with 4 to 5 years of supply chain and logistics experience- should have handled multiple warehouse and transportation vendors
