Role Description

As a BIM Coordinator, you will oversee multidisciplinary coordination, manage model integration, and resolve clashes while addressing high-level technical challenges. This role demands strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the success of BIM-related projects.

Key Responsibilities and Focus Areas

1. Model Integration and Coordination

• Coordinate the integration of models across multiple disciplines to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all model-related coordination tasks.

2. Clash Detection and Resolution

• Utilize tools like Navisworks, BIM 360, or Revizto for clash detection and resolution.
• Implement strategies to address and resolve clashes effectively.

3. Technical Problem-Solving

• Identify and address high-level technical challenges related to BIM workflows.
• Provide innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and accuracy of BIM processes.

4. Leadership and Mentorship

• Lead BIM coordination meetings and provide clear guidance to team members.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical and professional skills.

5. Project-Specific Coordination

• ACollaborate with project stakeholders to ensure BIM processes align with project requirements and objectives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of project-specific BIM standards and practices.

Qualifications and Skills Expected

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Proficiency

• Expertise in BIM coordination tools such as Navisworks, BIM 360, or Revizto.
• Strong understanding of BIM workflows and integration techniques.
