Marketing Executive
Cake Media Solutions are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Marketing Executive to help develop and deliver marketing activity across our growing group of businesses. This isn’t a role where you’ll simply be scheduling social media posts or waiting for the next marketing brief. You’ll work directly with senior leadership and commercial teams across the group, helping us build brands, create content, develop campaigns, generate opportunities and measure the commercial impact of our marketing activity. We’re looking for someone with ideas, energy and the confidence to take ownership. A Marketing Executive is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, generate leads, drive customer engagement, and support business growth. The role involves planning and delivering marketing campaigns across various channels, analysing market trends and campaign performance, creating compelling content, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives. The Marketing Executive combines creativity, commercial awareness, and data-driven decision-making to deliver measurable results and enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities
You’ll work across a varied range of group-wide marketing activities, including:
- Planning and delivering marketing campaigns
- Managing and developing our social media presence, particularly LinkedIn
- Creating written, graphic, photographic and video content
- Developing targeted B2B and lead-generation campaigns
- Working alongside our commercial teams on target sectors and customers
- Managing website content and landing pages
- Supporting SEO and organic website growth
- Developing email marketing campaigns
- Producing case studies and customer success stories
- Creating brochures, presentations and sales collateral
- Supporting employer branding and recruitment marketing
- Monitoring competitors and market developments
- Using analytics to measure campaign and website performance
- Supporting new businesses, brands and future acquisitions
- Exploring how AI and automation can improve our marketing
- Coordinating external agencies and specialist suppliers where required
- Ideally, you’ll have around 2–4+ years’ experience within marketing, digital marketing or a similar role.
- Experience within B2B, manufacturing, engineering, technology or an agency environment would be useful, but it’s not essential.
- Experience with platforms and tools such as Google Analytics, Canva/Adobe, website CMS systems, email marketing, CRM, SEO and AI marketing tools would be advantageous.
