IBM Integration Bus (IIB) / IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) Developer

Experience

6+ years in integration development, preferably with strong hands-on experience in IIB/ACE.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using IBM IIB / ACE.
• Develop message flows using:
  • Compute
  • Mapping
  • Filter
  • Route
  • MQ
  • HTTP/REST
  • SOAP
  • File
  • Database
  • Timer/Scheduler nodes
• Develop integrations using ESQL, Java, and message mapping.
• Work with IBM MQ for synchronous and asynchronous messaging.
• Develop REST and SOAP APIs and integrate with external/internal applications.
• Handle various message formats including JSON, XML, CSV, and fixed-length.
• Implement message transformation, routing, enrichment, validation, and exception handling.
• Design reusable and configurable integration components.
• Implement error handling using TryCatch, Failure terminals, exception handling, and MQ-based error queues.
• Configure and manage MQ queues, topics, channels, and security.
• Develop database integrations using SQL and JDBC.
• Implement logging, monitoring, auditing, and operational support mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Optimize message flows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in deployment activities across DEV, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
• Work with DevOps teams for CI/CD and automated deployments.
• Prepare technical documentation including solution design, interface specifications, mapping documents, and deployment documents.
