At Danfoss Drives, you will help shape the connectivity capabilities of next-generation variable frequency drives used across industrial applications worldwide. Your work will enable reliable, secure, and intelligent communication between machines, systems, and people, supporting greater efficiency and sustainability

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing embedded software for industrial communication and connectivity solutions, including fieldbus and wireless protocols. By transforming complex requirements into robust software, you will directly influence product performance, quality, and customer value

You will collaborate with global teams, contribute to technical innovation, and help drive the future of industrial automation and digital connectivity

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and develop C++-based embedded software for industrial communication and connectivity solutions, enabling reliable device integration and data exchange.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable software architectures and technical designs that support high-quality product development.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, testing, and software quality improvements to deliver robust and maintainable solutions.
• Work closely with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams to successfully deliver new product development initiatives.
• Mentor fellow engineers and contribute to continuous improvement, technical innovation, and best engineering practices across the team
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience developing software applications using C++, with a focus on embedded or industrial systems.
• Ability to create and interpret software architectures, technical designs, and system-level solutions.
• Experience working in Agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Proficiency in debugging, problem-solving, and software quality practices, including testing and code reviews.
• Hands-on experience with modern development tools such as Visual Studio, Git, and automated testing frameworks
