Job Description

The Senior Specialist - Emerging Platforms will play a crucial role in our Delivery department. This position requires a deep understanding of supply planning and the ability to leverage Kinaxis and other emerging platforms to optimize our planning processes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead and innovate, ensuring efficient and effective supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage supply planning activities, utilizing Kinaxis and other relevant tools.
• Ensure accurate and timely supply planning, considering raw material capacity, inventory, and shelf life management.
• Integrate and optimize planning processes, with a focus on expiry planning and ABP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align planning strategies with business goals.
• Maintain and support applications, including JIRA and ServiceNow ticketing systems.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in supply chain planning and emerging platforms.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in supply planning.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative solutions.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in supply planning, with 2+ years of Kinaxis experience.
• Authoring Lvl 2 certification is mandatory.
• Good understanding of integration processes and scripting is preferred.
• Exposure to expiry planning, ABP, and inventory management is essential.
• Experience with planning cycle activities, data load, and application maintenance is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a customer-centric approach.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools, including Kinaxis and JIRA.
• A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
