The Senior Functional Consultant - Dynamics AX is responsible for leading business process analysis, solution design, and ERP implementation activities for clients utilizing Microsoft Dynamics AX and Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions. This role partners with clients, project teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable ERP solutions aligned with operational goals, business process transformation initiatives, and organizational requirements. The position provides functional leadership across discovery, fit-gap analysis, solution configuration, testing, deployment, user training, and post-go-live support while contributing to delivery best practices, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring successful project execution and client satisfaction.

Education Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Master of Business Administration in Finance, Operations, or Supply Chain Management is preferred. Microsoft Trade & Logistics, Finance, Production, Retail, or Dynamics 365 certifications are preferred.

Role
- Lead business process analysis, requirement gathering workshops, and feasibility assessments for Microsoft Dynamics AX and Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations implementations.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and map client business requirements to ERP system functionality.
- Configure and support Microsoft Dynamics AX and Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations modules based on approved business and functional requirements.
- Develop and maintain functional requirement documents, functional design documents, process documentation, and test cases.
- Support end-to-end ERP implementation activities including discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, cutover, go-live, and post-deployment support.
- Lead user acceptance testing activities and support quality assurance processes for customized solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to support solution customizations and technical alignment with business requirements.
- Facilitate user training sessions and support end-user adoption initiatives.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and support resolution activities during implementation and support phases.
- Participate in onsite and remote client engagements to support workshops, requirement analysis sessions, and solution presentations.
- Collaborate with offshore teams and cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate project deliverables and implementation activities.
- Support ERP upgrade activities and ongoing system optimization initiatives.
- Contribute to implementation methodologies, delivery standards, and continuous improvement initiatives within the practice area.
- Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge sharing across project teams.
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations consulting, ERP implementation, or enterprise business application environments is required.
- Experience supporting customer-facing implementation projects, business process transformation initiatives, and full lifecycle ERP implementations is preferred.
