Job Purpose

To manage and control the production of the winding so as to meet the agreed production targets within planned levels of cost, Product quality in safe working production in winding as well as yarn management

Job Context & Major Challenges

• Maintaining the flow from PPC for yarn stockage for continuous beam running is a challenge
• Full Machine utilization is a challenge because of manpower shortage
• Accurately maintaining the drawing accessories for yarn processing
• Running after production for urgent sales orders.

KRA1 Planning for Preparation and Processing

• Ensuring the required stock of yarn for processing
• Planning for no beam loss for achieving full utilization of looms
• Planning for maintaining the required Getting/Knotting
• Optimization of piece dyed yarn remnant for full utilization of yarn.
  
  

KRA2 Planning for Order Delivery

• Ensuring the TAT of all BNR orders is achieved
• Planning for on time monthly delivery for all sales orders
  
  

KRA3 Reduction of beam setting time Analysis of Beam runout.

Prior arrangement of Beam runout.

Arrangement of Hands and timely changing of the beam.

KRA4 Completion of maximum nos. of gaiting and knotting On time execution of beaming gaiting.

On time calculation of possible knotting and gaiting and arranging knitters and gaiters accordingly.

KRA5 To improve housekeeping and ascertain safety standards to reduce accident Abnormality to be sorted out to take action.

Imporve in the 5 S score.

KRA6 To follow the guide line of WCM at implementing ISO-14000 identify new project at follow of OHSAS 18001 & SA 8000 Analyzing of root cause of deficiency & undertaking of new project training of all operators in respective shift during WCM meeting for ISO- 14000
