Job Description
Core Accounting Operations:
Job Description
- Manage daily financial operations and end-to-end accounting activities.
- Maintain General Ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Handle journal entries, reconciliations, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
- Ensure timely statutory and tax compliance, including GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
- Support month-end and year-end financial statement closure.
- Prepare financial reports and MIS reports for management decision-making.
- Coordinate with auditors and banking partners to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain proper financial, tax, and audit documentation.
Core Accounting Operations:
- Manage end-to-end day-to-day accounting transactions.
- Record and verify journal entries and General Ledger postings.
- Perform daily and monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
- Handle credit card and vendor reconciliations.
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) cycles.
- Ensure timely invoice processing and collection of receivables.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial statement closures.
- Handle tax computations and filings, including:
- GST
- TDS
- Income Tax Returns
- Maintain accurate tax registers and supporting documentation.
- Maintain challans and withholding-related records.
- Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements.
- Follow company policies and internal financial controls.
- Prepare financial data and supporting documents for internal and external statutory audits.
- Coordinate with auditors and banking partners to resolve discrepancies.
- Provide required accounting and compliance documentation during audits.
- Prepare periodic MIS reports to support management decision-making.
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of financial reports.
