Role Overview

We are looking for a Corporate Lawyer / Legal Manager with strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law to independently manage legal matters, handle client requirements, provide practical legal advice, and coordinate a legal team.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, vet and negotiate corporate and commercial agreements.

• Manage MCA/ROC filings and corporate compliance.

• Handle company/LLP incorporation, restructuring, corporate actions and related documentation.

• Manage trademark and IP matters.

• Conduct legal research and prepare opinions, reports and advisory notes.

• Assist with legal due diligence, investments, transactions and business restructuring.

• Identify contractual and regulatory risks and recommend practical solutions.

• Liaise with clients, CAs, CSs and other professional advisors.

• Supervise team members, delegate assignments and monitor deliverables.

• Develop and improve legal templates, processes and SOPs.

Requirements

• LLB from a recognised institution.

• 1–2 years of relevant corporate/legal experience.

• Strong knowledge of Companies Act, MCA compliance and commercial contracts.

• Good drafting, vetting, negotiation and legal research skills.

• Working knowledge of Trademark/IP laws.

• Strong communication, analytical and organisational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines.

• Good leadership and client-management capabilities.

• Experience in a corporate law firm or legal consultancy is preferred.
