Job Role: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Design, develop, and optimize mechanical components and assemblies for products incorporating BLDC motors.
Analyze motor integration requirements, including mounting arrangements, cooling systems, shaft couplings, housings, and transmission mechanisms.
Prepare, review, and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T specifications, BOMs, and assembly documentation.
Perform tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure proper fit, function, and manufacturability of components.
Lead mechanical assembly activities, prototype builds, and product validation testing.
Troubleshoot mechanical and assembly-related issues during prototype and production stages.
Coordinate with electrical, manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams throughout the product development process.
Support supplier development, component selection, and technical reviews.
Ensure mechanical designs comply with applicable engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
Identify and implement design improvements based on testing, production feedback, and performance requirements.
Prepare technical reports, design documentation, engineering change requests, and other relevant engineering records.
