GIS Analyst (BLR)

Description

• Experience working with utility data, preferably Electric, Gas or Water utility data.
• Experience performing vector data management and data creation/curation activities in ArcGIS.
• Experience with GIS data management using an SDE (ArcGIS Software) and/or experience of working with an RDBMS (Relational database management system). Both skills are bonus.
• Experience of working with ArcGIS Utility Network is a bonus.
• Attention to detail and an ability to follow process and procedure.
• Experience working with Enterprise Asset Management software like Trimble Unity/Cityworks, SAP, Maximo, etc. Or working on integration between these systems and GIS is a bonus.
• Experience performing business analyst functions on geospatial projects, determining requirements and testing is a bonus.
• Experience of working with software like FME Desktop/Server or any other open-source GIS software is a bonus.
• Programming knowledge or work experience in languages like Python, JavaScript, SQL or C# is a bonus.
  
  

Qualifications

Educational: Master’s in Geoinformatics or Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or any relevant field

Experience Required: 1 to 3 years of work experience in Geographic Information Systems. (Mandatory).

Software/Tools Experience Required : Experience with GIS software like ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online. (Mandatory)
