The Analyst will play a key role in providing research support to the team and administrative assistance to all verticals within the Air Quality sector.

Responsibilities
- Lead review of academic literature and best practices to generate research outputs with a focus on air quality indicators, implementation, and their evaluation.
- Handle administrative and engagement issues with stakeholders as a core function of this job.
- Organise logistics and help conduct capacity building workshops, including assisting travel desks for logistics and other arrangements.
- Assist team members in planning all events and the Air Quality flagship conference at CSTEP.
- Engage with vendors for event logistics in Bengaluru and other cities.
- Draft short memos, meeting minutes, letters for stakeholders, and donor reports, with inputs from lead PI/ Group Head.
- Liaise with different departments within CSTEP for preparing, designing, and printing collaterals.
- Manage purchase requests, procurement and other logistics for the team.
- Manage email lists, stakeholder lists, and CV banks for the team.
- Assist the core team in all other tasks, as required.
- Conduct secondary desk research in all key areas related to air quality.
- Bachelor’s degree with 60% (first class) from a recognised Indian university. Master’s degree holders are eligible to apply as well, though this is a junior/ entry-level position.

Experience
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in climate and air pollution issues. Familiarity with these issues is required.
- Experience in administrative support functions is a must.
- Sound knowledge of NCAP, city action plans, and key issues pertaining to air quality management and policy in India.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English. Ability to speak and write fluently in Kannada, Hindi, Odia, Telegu, Tamil, Gujarati, Punjabi or Gurmukhi or another regional language will be a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
- Quick learner and methodical in documentation.
