IT Engineer -IAM / C-IAM

Position Overview

IAM/C‑IAM Integration Expert – Front‑Desk Squad, SEC4APP domain (CARDIF IT Corporate), Chennai. Designs, implements and operates SSO (SAML 2.0 / OIDC) solutions, mainly on Keycloak, for Cardif International and ensures compliance with GDPR, SOC 2 and internal security policies.

Job Responsibilities

• Build and maintain SAML 2.0 / OIDC SSO flows and integrate third‑party IdPs (Azure AD, Okta, ADFS, Google).
• Administer Keycloak realms, clients, protocol mappers, and role‑to‑group mappings.
• Automate Keycloak deployments with Terraform/Helm on Kubernetes or VMs.
• Perform security hardening, incident response, and post‑mortem analysis.
• Document architecture, runbooks and SOPs; collaborate with DevSecOps, compliance and development teams.

Required Education, Skills AND Experience (MUST‑HAVE)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent.
• 5–10 years IAM/SSO or security engineering experience; ≥2 years hands‑on Keycloak in production.
• Strong knowledge of SAML 2.0, OIDC, Keycloak administration, Java/Bash scripting, Terraform/Helm, Docker/Kubernetes.
• Security fundamentals (JWT, X.509, MFA) and monitoring (Prometheus/ELK).
• Excellent analytical, cross‑functional collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Education, Skills AND Experience (NICE‑TO‑HAVE)

• Master’s degree or certifications (CISSP, CISA, CIAM).
• 8 years IAM experience; exposure to additional IdPs (Ping, Auth0) and cloud IAM services.
• Proficiency in a modern language (Go, Python) for custom Keycloak extensions.
• Experience with ISO 27001/GDPR‑by‑design, service‑mesh security, and French language fluency.
